SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Form Tomorrow, a 501c3 non-profit closely associated with Stempel Form PC Architects is offering a summer internship opportunity.

The internship includes several educational opportunities, including talks, and participation in workshops being run by Form Tomorrow. The internship is unpaid, however, room and board is offered.

Students will be located close to national parks, and other fantastic recreational opportunities. Students will be responsible for their own food and transportation during the two month internship period.

Students will likely engage in one of two projects: an energy re-fit of a foreclosed home, or construction of a small earth building. In either case, students will be exposed to the nuts and bolts of detailing, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality. The project undertaken will largely depend on permit and approval processes.

The internship will run from June 15th to August 22nd. This will likely be the first of several training and internship opportunities in the area.

SUBMIT a letter of interest, and resume to info@stempelform.com with the subject line: “Summer Internship”.

Review of submissions will begin on 05/14/2010.
